I've now acquired our new dedicated server and begun to set up the services and transfer the data over to it.
PLEASE NOTE: The 'golder.org' services will therefore be extremely slow and painful to use over the next few days. Apologies for any inconvenience. As I am transferring several tens of gigabytes of data up the relatively slow ADSL line in Kingston Blount (uploading at roughly 50K/s), there is very little bandwidth left for anything else. The first chunk of data I am moving is the mail data. Once that has transferred fully, which I expect to be sometime tomorrow (29th), I'll be taking the mail service off-line for possibly an hour or so to switch that over to the new server. After that, the mail service should feel more reponsive than ever before.
